I have always thought that embroidery could fully capture a person, a life, to the point of even influencing some personality traits. This is not pure fantasy of mine, much less presumption, but simple observation, which I derive from many personal experiences: of knowledge of my history and that of various friends and ‘colleagues’ embroiderers.
